The final round of this years Moto GP comes your way this Sunday live from Valencia Spain and this years final race is set to be one of the most anticipated races for many many years now. For the first time in seven years the Moto gp championship will be decided as it heads down to the final race, and the two riders competing for the championship comes down to 20 year old Marc Marquez and 26 year old rider for Yamaha Jorge Lorenzo. We can report that the last time a championship came down to the final race a Honda rider claimed the championship with a win over a Yamaha rider. Could this be an omen for this weekend?

Jorge Lorenzo the experience of current Moto GP world champion

With Jorge Lorenzo so close to a world championship win for 2013, it all rests on the shoulders of Marquez as to whether Lorenzo will be come world champion again. The experience of Jorge Lorenzo may give him the edge though. As Moto GP world champion 2012, Lorenzo currently carries the championship in his grasp as he defends it this Sunday. The experience of Lorenzo may be what decides the race. Back in 2007 Jorge Lorenzo was recognised as the most successful Spanish rider ever with a total of 16 victories in one year. Lorenzo accomplished this victory in the Misano Italy round of the Moto 2 2007 world championship.

Hopes of a future Moto Gp king

We can report that Marc Marquez only has to place fourth or higher in this sundays race to become the first ever rookie world champion in his first year. Even if Lorenzo places first it is completely out of his hands, it all depends on how Marquez decides to ride his way to his first Moto GP world championship.
